A biography of Leibrandt was written by Hans Strydom; it is titled "For
Volk und Fuhrer" and was published by Jonathan Ball Publishers , in
Johannesburg in 1982. Leibrandt sailed from Paimpol, France, on the yacht
"Kyloe", on April 2, 1941. According to the book, he landed at Mitchell's
Bay on the evening of 10 June 1941. However, I would not regard this as
necessarily the correct date, the one given by Janet may be correct.
Writers don't always get things right.
