2. David D. Lybrand b. 24 Oct 1817 on Bear Creek, d. 27 Dec 1888, bur. Marvin Chapel Cemetery, Van Zandt Co., Tx., married 1st 6 Dec 1838 Elizabeth Stingley, b. 23 Jul 1823, d. 20 Sep 1839, married 2nd Mary Elizabeth Jeffreys, b. 18 Feb 1830 Mississippi, David's first wife died at age 15 giving birth to their first child John Jacob Lybrand. David moved to Alabama and onto Attalla Co., Miss in 1843 and on to Smith Co., Texas ca 1850.
3. Joshua Lybrand b. 20 Jul 1820, d. 23 Feb 1862 during the War between the States. married Mary Frazier b 1819 Alabama. Joshua & Mary moved to Mississippi and then moved back to South Carolina.
4. Wesley Allen Lybrand b. 9 Jan 1823, d. 11 Apr 1908, bur. New Holland Cemetery, married Sallie Derrick b. 11 Feb 1826, d. 11 Apr 1908, also bur. New Holland Cemetery in Aiken Co., SC.
5. Mary Ann Lybrand b. 20 Jul 1825, d 1919, married Hilliard Rauch.
6. Lucinda Caroline Lybrand b. 27 Feb 1828, married Feb 1847 Cohen Frick.
7. Louisa Selinda Lybrand b. 9 Dec 1830, married Henry Matthias Wessinger b. 20 Oct 1826.
8. Chaney Francis Lybrand b. 17 Aug 1822, d 1930, married Jessie Ballentine.
9. John Noah Lybrand b. 20 Sep 1836, d. 1 Dec 1862 during the War between the States.
