I have several naratives that state that Harriet Kelly was the d/o William & Barbara Sease Lybrand. William & Barbara Sease Lybrand migrated from Lexington Dist. S.C. between 1840 & 1850 to Coosa Co., AL. The info I have cite William as a s/o John Lybrand & Nancy Benay. Info states that William & his nephew Henry Lybrand came to Coosa Co., AL ca 1847.
Family data on John Lybrand, b. before 1765 & Nancy
Benay:
Children:
l. Henry Lybrand, b. 1783, m. Nancy Ballentine
2.
William Lybrand, b. 1787, m. Barbara Sease
3. John (Jack)Lybrand Jr., m.
Elizabeth Fulmer
4. Annie Lybrand, m. Elijah Hendrix
5. Issac Lybrand, b.
1796, m. Barbara Wessinger
Info cites John (1765) as a s/o Johann Christian Lybrand who was the s/o the original immigrant, Johann Heinrich Lybrand.
People have been extremely kind to fwd me a family trail of the Lybrands of SC, but I was wondering if anyone had a paper trail to document the early history of the Lybrands of Lexington Dist. S.C. Also what documentation exists to distinguish Henry Librand of Coosa Co., as a nephew of William Librand of Coosa Co., and not his son.
Thanks
