– Martin Leibbrandt of Imperial is an agribusiness leader and agricultural advocate. He retired in 1991 as general manager of the Frenchman Valley Farmers Cooperative. The cooperative was created in 1968 under his leadership. He served on the Nebraska Cooperative Council Board of Directors for more than 14 years and chaired the board for 12 years. Known for mentoring and training a number of managers, he emphasized commitment to rigorous lifelong learning. He is a recipient of numerous honors and is active in his community.
