About www.leibbrandt.com

My father Christian Wilhelm Leibbrandt started with Leibbrandt genealogy in 1938.
I started a Leibbrandt genealogy website about 1990.

About 2000 the webserver www.leibbrandt.com became an new hobby project.
On www.leibbrandt.com all genealogical data about the Leib(b)rand(t) family that I found is collected and presented in an orderly way.
The work of many other Leibbrandt genealogists is included in the world-wide Leibbrandt family tree www.leibbrandt.com/stamm.htm

The webserver is a 2 GHz Pentium 4, running on Windows 98, in the metercabinet of our home. See the photo.
The webserver software is Apache/2.0.47 (Win32) Server at www.leibbrandt.com Port 80 .

The Internet connection is a fiberoptic line.
It provides you a download and upload speed of max. 100 MBit/s.

It may take some seconds before the first webpage is displayed.
More than 10 GByte webspace is open for the world and can be found by Google.
The major part of the 50 GByte webspace is private, is not linked and cannot be found by Google.

The webserver is one of the PC's in a home network LAN.
The LAN is made with a TP-LINK TL-WDR4300 router,
A number of PC's and other equipment are connected to the LAN.

The server hosts also webpages of some of my friends.
